Revenue systems ownership and data governance
How Salesforce and connected revenue systems were governed as one operating ecosystem while improving data quality across more than 50,000 CRM records.
The revenue environment depended on Salesforce alongside HubSpot, Close.io, Distribution Engine, Zapier, Cloudingo and other connected tools. Over time, data quality issues, duplicated records, workflow dependencies and inconsistent system ownership created operational risk across reporting, routing and seller execution. The organization needed to manage the stack as one connected operating ecosystem rather than as a collection of separate platforms.
Improving data quality without disrupting a connected revenue ecosystem
More than 50,000 CRM records supported workflows across Salesforce and several connected revenue tools. Duplicate records, inconsistent data and cross-system dependencies affected reporting, routing and seller execution. The challenge was not simply to clean the database once, but to strengthen data quality and governance while protecting the workflows and integrations that depended on it.
Owning Salesforce operations, connected workflows and CRM governance
I owned Salesforce and the workflows connecting it with HubSpot, Close.io, Distribution Engine, Zapier and Cloudingo. My responsibilities included managing CRM configuration, supporting routing and seller workflows, improving reporting foundations, resolving cross-system issues and governing more than 50,000 CRM records through structured cleanup and duplicate management.
Treating data governance as an ongoing operating discipline
I combined structured record cleanup with ongoing governance across the systems and workflows connected to Salesforce. Duplicate management through Cloudingo was supported by clearer data standards, workflow review and investigation of the downstream effects of changes. Rather than treating each platform issue separately, I evaluated how data, routing, automation and reporting interacted across the revenue stack before implementing changes.
Data quality is not a one-time cleanup project. In a connected revenue stack, records, routing rules, automations and reporting all depend on ongoing governance across the systems that share the data.
Strengthening governance across 50,000+ CRM records
The work improved the reliability of Salesforce data and the workflows connected to it, while establishing a more disciplined approach to duplicate management, system ownership and cross-platform change. More than 50,000 CRM records were governed through structured cleanup and Cloudingo, creating a stronger foundation for routing, reporting and seller execution.
